If you feel the need of a longer battery life but do not have plans of getting the new versions of N95 (which means bigger RAM and screen aren't that essential to you but a camera lens cover is a must and the original housing color looks better than the all black variant to you) then I've got good news for you! Take a look at the video clip below and you'll see the first N95 available in the consumer market got a BL-6F battery working!

All you need to do is get yourself a crystal case and leave the back/battery cover away from your N95 so the higher capacity battery will fit! And of course, don't forget to purchase a new BL-6F battery too.

Next Walkman Phone from Sony Ericsson

Ready for SE W880's successor(?) If you happen to own one and craving for a bigger screen size whilst still maintaining great looks and of course somewhat thin like (but not so apparently) as W880 then look no further! Here are some spy pics of the upcoming walkman phone everybody.

walkman phone

Looking at the images, yours truly boy next door (LOL) obviously can see an etched 3.2Mpx at the back and a secondary cam at the front side for video calls which means that this is a 3G and/or HSDPA walkman phone. Though this blogger cannot confirm whether the camera features an auto-focus or not. Nevertheless, this is an excellent alternative for W960, especially for guys and gals looking for a compact, more affordable than the latter and a non Symbian UIQ OS walkman phone.

Welcome To The Eseries Family Nokia E51!

Nokia today bolstered its Nokia Eseries portfolio of business devices with the introduction of the new Nokia E51 device. The slim and elegant Nokia E51 adds greater simplicity, faster access and tighter integration to key applications, while maintaining the smartphone capabilities and stylish design that customers have come to expect in a Nokia Eseries device. An all-round device, Nokia E51 is ideal for business professionals who require reliable, real-time access to business and people, need to manage time effectively and value a single device that is easy to set up, maintain and use. Nokia E51 users with Nokia mobility solutions can experience mobile telephony, mobile email and messaging, office phone functionality, and cost savings - with the convenience of one phone number, one voice mailbox, one dial plan - in a single device.

Nokia E51

"With the new Nokia E51 device, we are responding to this need with a business smartphone that combines the latest advances in business mobility and a classic, stainless steel design, at a price that makes it perfect for company-wide deployments."

While expanding the rich functionality that business users require, Nokia continues to simplify the use of its business devices via the following:

- A home screen including user-selected icons to the most used applications

- Streamlined email reading experience with easy access to attachments

- Dedicated Email key on the front cover, indicator light for new email, and a preview window to the latest email on the home screen to help keep up with email when on the move

These solutions deliver desk phone calling features - such as extension dialing, hold, transfer and conferencing - to a single, mobile device. Companies can also reduce their international call charges by routing the call over the corporate IP networks.

"Nokia and BT share a vision that business mobility adoption will thrive when our collective customers and their respective end users, derive productivity improvements from mobile enabled applications," said Rakesh Mahajan, global director of mobility at BT Global Services.

"For the BT Corporate Fusion solution, we chose the Nokia E51 for its classic Nokia business smartphone features and design, its ease of integration into our solution, and its affordability, making it more appealing for widespread use within companies of all sizes."

Gizmo application is available to Nokia Eseries customers through the Nokia Download! application on their mobile phone.

Nokia E51In addition to increased features and functionality for business use, Nokia E51 lends itself well to personal use and offers a polished look for both business and personal use. The thin, stainless steel device is equipped with personal applications, including:

- FM radio, music and multimedia players

- 2 megapixel camera

- Nokia browser, serving as the gateway to a variety of Internet services including interoperability with Windows Live, providing mobile access to most popular Windows Live services including Hotmail, Messenger and Spaces, available through the Nokia Download! application

Nokia N94i Fake or Real?!

This is quite shocking guys. Take a look at the allegedly leaked photos of the upcoming N94i(?). Based on the pics, this particular Nseries phone will be powered by Windows Mobile and a stylus (not by our fingers [too much]) LOL, meaning it will be a touchscreen Nokia. Rumors said that N94i will feature a 2Mpx camera, bluetooth, MP3 player (I suppose, via Windows Media Player) and microSD card support to name a few. Oh yeah, I can see a secondary cam beside the screen, so I guess it's a 3G device too.

Nokia N94i

Nokia N95 8GB Advertisement

Below is the commercial of the 'greatest multimedia computer' ever made by Nokia. The difference between the old N95 and this one are:

  • Larger screen (2.6" to 2.8")
  • Bigger RAM (for faster and better multi-tasking)
  • More powerful battery
  • Comes pre-installed with the new N-gage gaming platform

Motorola Z10 Coming to O2 in October!

Judging from O2's image below, Motorola Z10 will have a 3.2Mpx camera (perhaps with auto focus) and 3G support. Though the 30fps video is quite unclear. Moto, is that video capture and/or playback only? Undoubtedly, this is going to be Z8's successor with Symbian UIQ OS! But wait, AFAIK Motorola Z8 is capable of playing videos in 30fps, so I guess they were talkin' about 30fps video recording.

Apple iPhone 16GB Version Soon?!

Look what Apple is into nowadays, it looks like that they forgot to mention the updated version of iPhone (which undoubtedly and probably make more iPhone customers go mad) together with the newest iTouch (basically a none phone iPhone) and the rest of the iPod family. This time, Steve Jobs is also pumping up iPhone's memory to 16GB! Many speculators added that the 16GB will also support 3G/UMTS/HSDPA!

Here's the allegedly leaked advertisement of T-Mobile:

iPhone 16GB
My source told me that it will be out next month, October. Sigh, marketing plans..

Sony Ericsson PSP Phone by February 2007?!

In Japan, Sony Ericsson have already released very known brands from Sony namely Walkman, Cyber-shot and even Bravia. But hey, where's Playstation? Well, it seems that the Japanese-Swedish handset maker is on track (apparently more eager now than ever because of Nokia's relaunch of N-gage) on releasing its PSP(?) phone very soon! Rumors in the blogosphere indicates that Sony Ericsson will be announcing it at the Mobility World Congress next year come February. That statement was even confirmed by Mr. Peter Ahnegard, SE's boss in the games department. I'm pretty sure this phone will definitely make Nokia's N-gage new gaming platform be more competitive. But frankly speaking, I guess the upcoming PSP phone will have better graphics than the latter.. Every hardcore gamer knows what PSP's graphics are, right?

Nokia 8900?!

Here we go again, another leaked phone. The image below was reportedly posted at eBay by a certain known importer of SIM free phones blah blah. Many bloggers speculates it to be the successor of 8600 Luna. My golly, this doesn't deserve to be its successor, 8600 Luna is far sexier than this dummy phone! Especially the smoked glass on 8600, simply superb to look at!
