Nokia N96 Is Coming To Town!

Since I'm kinda late in reporting this article, I better not delay and just show you N95's or shall I say N81's successor, the Nokia N96, a sure fusion of N95 and N81!

Hooray, finally a REAL music phone with 5Mpx auto focus camera from Nokia! Though pictures reveal that this N81 look alike does not have xenon flash but instead, Nokia decided to place 2 LED flash.. Hmmm, if it weren't for the xenon flash from N82 and its kinda plain bar form factor and keypad layout.. I guess I'll just have to choose between design + newer OS and xenon flash at the end.

By the way, look at how the stereo loudspeakers are positioned, they are just on the phones right side, on the edgy corners. Also, pay attention to the improved numerical keypad layout, particulary the 1, 2 and 3 buttons - they now have more enough space above, yipee! Next up, what happened to the iPod like navigation pad or N81's navi-wheel and N-Gage dedicated buttons up that bigger screen, GONE - oh men?! And finally, do you see the "Open" softkey in the middle, it can only mean either Symbian 9.3 or 9.5!

Last but the most amusing part - hey, did I hear N96 sayin..

- Look Mom N95/N81, I can stand! LOL =)

HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE!!!

emTube - The Better YouTube Player For S60 Phones!

Since Sittiphol Phanvilai's MobiTubia were announced as the grand prize winner at Forum Nokia's Open C Challenge, a number of competitors (if I may say) are just around corners. Video Review: Samsung G800

Our tech savvy girl Susi from Shiny Media recently had her say on the auto focusing 5Mpx - 3x optical zoom powered HSDPA Samsung G800 with xenon flash and face detection (quite unusual for mobile phones outside Japan), document viewers, 2.4" screen, microSD slot and FM radio multimedia phone.

Samsung G800 may not be the first camera phone that had been widely available across the globe (in G800's case - to be, not just in Japan and Korea) to feature an optical zooming lens like Nokia N93 which was announced around April last year, nevertheless, Samsung G800 offers a quite impressing set of functions an advanced user is craving for these days.. Here's the video guys!

    A Glimpse Of Nokia's S60 Feature Pack 2

OMG! I'm really not that surprise of the screenshots but instead I'm reacting on one of the shots down there. If you've been an avid reader of my blog, you've probably have notice that I've been eagerly waiting for Nokia 5700's successor! Well anyway, here are the screenshots of S60 Feature Pack 2. Look at how the third softkey (in the middle) was implemented, just like the ones in S40, NICE! And of course, the used theme, it reminds me of XpressMusic wallpapers found on 5310 and 5610! More to the point, FlashLite 3 will be pre-installed on devices running S60 FP2 which means we'll have native support for YouTube videos, YIPPEE!

Set in the stylish, yet seedy fictional city of New Haven, Dirk Spanner and the Fallen Idol comes to life through its comic book ambiance. Nokia Patents New Slider Camera Phone That Twists!

Whoa! Just like the first camera focused N90 where we can rotate or twist its camera barrel and hey, this upcoming phone from Nokia comes in a slide form factor at the same time, how cool is that guys and gals! Not only that, judging by the way it looks, the camera flash seems to be hidden under the hood which can be revealed by pulling the body upwards! I suspect a better video recording than N95, xenon flash and at least 3x optical zoom here. More to the point, pay attention on the 8 or 6Mpx etched right below its camera module, hmmm..
