This is sizzling hot news guys, from now on we can send IMs (instant messages) as FREE text messages to mobile phones straight from our Yahoo! Mail accounts! All you need to do is to switch to the new Beta Mail service in order to send a free SMS! Just make sure that you have entered a valid mobile phone number on each contact/s' profile where you want to send FREE text messages. Kindly input the mobile number in international format (e.g. +63919xxxxxxx)
The service is currently available for the following countries:
- Philippines
- Canada
- India
- USA
But wait, there's more!!! Yahoo Mail Beta also introduces the ability to chat right inside of Mail Beta without the need of downloading the YM client, ala Gmail!
