'Hey everybody, here's our next generation multimedia beast phones' - I think is the right dialogue and attitude for Motorola to cope with the ever toughening competition in the mobile phone market after being thrown out by Samsung in the second place. Recently, Moto has presented two new mobiles (actually there were four of em) in Amsterdam, meanwhile, let's talk about the 2 most interesting phones, shall we?
The injured handset maker is aiming to get more sales out of this next planned multimedia phones named as (first) Skarven featuring a whooping 8 megapixel camera with 3X optical zoom (probably with Schneider Kreuznach lens usually used by Kodak), 16M color 2.8" VGA (640 x 480) screen, GPS and wi-fi. The second phone named as Motorola Z12 X PIXL (successor of RIZR Z10, I'm guessing..) equipped with a 5 megapixel camera and blah blah (which means there were no other available info in the interim provided by Motorola themselves). These phones will surely be a direct competitor to SE K850, N95 (8GB), N82 and Samsung G800/G600, not in the coming Christmas season but starting next year because apparently Motorola has promised both particular phones to be available early next year! Nevertheless, Motorola fans definitely still have more reasons to rejoice for aside from ROKR E8 and RIZR Z10! =)
By the way, here are the other two:
